Environmental sealing, securing and rigidisation

Intrinsically many wiring systems require wires to be static or rigid at one point

Intrinsically many wiring systems require wires to be static or rigid at one point, for example at a connector termination, but also capable of movement (if only through vibration) elsewhere. This design parameter involves a variety of solutions including rigid or flexible mouldings or both, but also the use of encapsulants within hoods and boots, SF or otherwise.

  • Sealing undertaken to IP68.
  • High flexing feedthroughs assisted by encapsulants.
  • Rigid or semi-rigid mouldings can create and contain wire paths entirely.
